The Entrenchment multyplayer song is freakin annoying

After the first five minutes of listening to the endless loop of that crappy song when I'm logged in ICO my head was going to explode with rage. That repetitive pseudo-drama-militaristic drum beat really gets inside your spinal cord and wrecks havoc with your patience.

I tried to look for a way to revert back to the original ICO theme song but I did not find a way. Sure I could mute the computer until the game starts but I also happen to edit some audio files when i'm waiting for a game.

There should be a way to change the tune.

I think that the file you want to alter is Opening Theme.ogg inh the sound folder in the entrenchment folder in the program files sins folder.

personally I just set music to minimum volume in sins

It'd be nice if you could disable menu/title screen music, since often you have to sit for quite a while on ICO trying to get a match set up.  But ideally this would work without disabling the ingame music which can sometimes give useful cues to whether or not there is a fight going on and so forth.

sorry, but three posts doesnt seem to warrant a change, turn music vol off for waiting, then back on once ur in the game, seeing as there is usually a down period for a few seconds while other people r loading.

After listening to both title screen songs, I have to agree. The SoaSE title screen music is just better. Better mood, better pacing, good length, and it just feels good to listen to. It's a song that I can have on loop in the background, while trolling forums like this one, and like it. The Entrenchment music is rugged and militaristic, but it's missing that all important... space-y aspect. The mood of the Entrenchment music is an aggrivator, making it even more difficult when your patience is going low.

Just replace the theme with a different song. It's far better having Entrenchment running with the original Opening Theme on. ^_^
