Updating versions of Sins but still been able to play on the previous update version

Sorry if the title makes no sense i'll try and explain myself. Basicly i want to be able to play versions of sins such as 1.05 but still b able to play 1.11 for example so i can play mods created for different versions of sins.

I can recall seeing a post regarding this but i have looked though the forums and can't seem to find it.

Can anyone please help me with this Endeavour?

Install the game from disk. Update to 1.05 with the standalone update. Copy the entire install folder somewhere else. Start up Impulse and update the original installation. That's it! You'll be able to launch 1.05 from the copied folder, and the latest version from the install folder. It might reset the settings each time you switch, though, since both use the same user path. Or it might not.
