Has 1.1 beed abandoned?

I have been waiting forever for the 1.1 patch since I have installed the Beta.  My question is when is it gonna come out ?  It was promised mid July and its still not here.  Has this game been abandoned by Stardok??  Also MP has no ranking..... It would cost very little to create some form of ranking sistem.  I feel that this gem of a game has been abandoned prematurely am I right ?

You are wrong.

I didn't feel like going more into it, but I have tons of time to kill, so, I wasn't around in July, I think, for whatever Beta that was, so you can tell me which one that is, but right now, the latest update is 1.095 beta.  After the 1.05 came the 1.09 to test changes and 1.095 fixed some of the problems found and testing some more so hopefully once all bugs have been found and fixed 1.1 will be coming.  In there forum, there is a Beta section, there is some info about it in there as well as a change log.

Umm no.......

If you're playing the BETA for 1.1 (v1.095) then you should know they just gave us a newer BETA version a week or so ago....doesn't seem like "abandoned" to me?

For those not in the beta, there really hasn't been much public news around here (that I've seen at least) about where the patch stands.  I've been checking around here fairly regularly for months and it's not hard to get the impression that it's been shelved.

Granted, I know better but still... It's taking quite a while.

AFAIK There are only some balance issues left for 1.1 that need fixing. Ironclad is still working on it.

I though the November thing was the Entrenchment expansion.

November is Entrenchment and I thought they said late September for 1.1 release, but they might be moving it to October since they gave us an updated Beta version. At least I assume that is a possibility.

1.1 is still being worked on. As others have said, the July release was the first beta, and a new one was just posted shortly ago.

Its ready when its ready.

Get impulse, get the patch and speed it up by giving feedback.

Because feedback is - belive it or not - very important to them.

So far they pay huge attention to the forum beta section and alter the game accordingly.

The last issues revolved to a huge degree around carrier and strikecraft balancing.

(scuttlebug, building speed, flak performance)

If you install it you notice a huge bias in AI fleet composition twoards strikecraft.

we are at the point of "let them eat carrier fleets till we a sure there are no strikecraft issues".

Also, there were quite some changes to flak, and i bet they want to know if the changes are practicable.

They will probably NEVER go 1.1 without more or less general positive feedback on flaks.

So, have you eaten your share of strikecraft today with the new flaks and commented about it? THAT would speed up the process. Sitting here and mutterin "is the beta over soon?" gets us nowhere.

Since they are making changes to the game play, I agree that they need to take their time and make sure that they get it right because once they release the patch, anyone who plays the game in online multiplayer will be forced to have it.  It would be sad if a bug in the patch or bad game play chemistry cost us the online multiplayer community.
