How about an ALL Cap Ship game? Would the AI fall apart?

Hey im am hoping to get some input from the devs on this.  i am wondering if i setup a mod with only capital ships  available to be built, how would the AI react to that?  would it build a full fleet of cap ships (fleet and supply provided) or would it just build a couple and nothing else? or maybe it would break it entirely?

i will try it out anyway but i was hoping someone who has more knowledge of the AI could throw in on this.  I see that for the patch the # of cap ships is increased and the build ai has been improved so this gives me hope it could work.

Excellent idea. I have thought of creating a mod such as that for a while. The problem is that the build rate for the AI capital ships is hardcoded. Changing the appropriate .entity files, unfortunately does nothing.
