Invalid custom races

Hey all, I'm trying to make a new race and use it in a metaverse game, but I'll see an error message telling me that my custom race is 'invalid' and my metaverse score won't be submitted if I use it.

Can anybody tell me what I need to do to make my race 'valid' and why the hell I need to come here and ask instead of being told the reason in game or maybe in my manual?

I'm running TOA btw, but I'm quite certain this happens in DA too.

Have you deleted any beta races from your My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor folder, and are you only editing the races in-game? If it's a clean copy not modified by hand, it should not be possible for it to be meta-unsafe.

I'm only editing them in game. I have modded before, but only with the dialogue in the GC2_Conversations file and my old DA custom race. (this one is new)

I didn't play beta, so have no beta races. My copy is clean.

I had a problem with this before. I dont know exactly what, but some combinations of abilities seem to cause the raceconfig to become invalid. It also seemed that once the custom race was so flagged, nothing I could do would change that, even totally resetting everything to default. I ended up deleting and re-creating them and it worked just fine. This was with an earlier version of DA.

I had this problem too, but i figured out that it had something to do with the techs i picked for my civ..
If i use all my tech points, its invalid for some reason.. But if i remove some starter techs so i have about 50 tech points unused, then its valid.
Wierd, must be a bug ?

Hmm, I never had that problem. I use all my tech points each time.
