I would ask what the method of shipment to Germany is... maybe its some sort of special expedited post so Volks get it sooner than through regular airmail.

I believe it was mentioned, but the weight of the collectors edition is such that they had to increase the shipping charges to avoid taking a loss.

Unfortunately. However even with the new rates, the total cost to Europe is right about €54, which is still in the normal range for a new release PC game (checked gamestop.fi and Crysis, CoD4, etc, are €55).

oh, okay i did not know that the CE would differ (more weight) that much from the normal edition. You really should update the shop info (additional entry for the ce), so that other stupid customers like me don't get confused.

54€ is ok for a heavier CE, but with the current dollar to euro exchange one always looks for a cheap import.

I notice the $29.00 shipping also applies to Canada today. Which makes the boxed version $9.00 more than a TotalGaming.net membership. With products like Twilight of the Arnor and DreamScapes 2 in the pipeline, it should be easy to find a home for the leftover tokens!

I live in USA, is that mean I get normal box or CE, I did order thought using Stardock to this website download with box, no other, Sins of a Solar Empire (CD Preorder) I even e-mail sales Stardock and tole me I should get CE, but it's not like I want to paid more on shipping, but $5 shipping, but it's didn't give us what kind of shipping, UPS or USA Mail, ect.. If I do get CE, dont know why pirces go up like your, maybe it's has to do with ship with lot of gas and oil or airplance need fuel?? They should spend second gold disk spend over and makeing game from there to make cheaper for everyone there while first gold disk a make a copy disk here. Just a though.

Shipping is via USPS. It costs more because we didn't count on the CE coming out to weigh three pounds. However since you already ordered at the old rate, that is what you will be charged. The new rates only apply to new orders.

First law of shipping in the US: If it's very heavy/fragile, shipping costs a lot. If it's extremely heavy/fragile, it's free!
