Are you someone that knows this for sure or you have came here to insult me? "not enough people for multiplayer" situation is because of people like you; you chase them all away. I have searched forum for "hotseat" and "seat", did you do that? See how many threads are there and think how many people thinks the same way but don't say anything... In stickies it is written about "multiplayer", like internet and such, and I'm asking about HOTSEAT because of this:

Well, if you read part 3 interview on the apolyton site http://galciv2.net/4/166/294 , you will see that the hotseat feature is planned for the first expansion

I'm not taking it for granted because it was long time ago, I'm simply asking a question and hoping to get a reply from someone who knows the answer, not someone who think he is smart and knows all the answers. There is ctrl+shift+z cheat that allows you to take ofer the computer player, many player would be just happy if this works as it should, in current state, if i play Yor and take over the Drengin, play his turn and hit "end turn", the Yor's turn is ended also, there is no way to play normally... Many players would be satisfied even if this worked right; no missed turns, and no computer played moves, that's all...

I somewhat knew that there would be no hot seat yet, I found some more hot seat threads and read them, but hey, there is always hope, and if you don't like those threads, just simply ignore them, that's all...

Brad's comment in the interview was long before DA's feature-set was finalized (the interview was done in February as I recall, right after GC2's release). In any case, multiplayer will not be in DA in any official way.

Brad has more recently said that, depending on how DA sells, there may be a second expansion which does add full multiplayer, though.

My brother and I and some of our friends hope that the expansion comes out soon and adds multiplayer. Even turned based multiplayer allows us to test or might against each other and there is ALWAYS a demand for multiplayer in ANY game.

Blah blah blah, there are also tons of people not on the forum who like GC2 and DON'T want multiplayer. Conjuring random statistics out of thin air is easy. Multiplayer fans have never been "chased away". People only complained in their threads because it wasn't in the friggin' sticky and they were getting tired of reading the same old threads. Speaking of which, if you searched the forum for other hotseat threads, why did you make a new one instead of using an existing one? kthxbye

Actually, when I asked Cari if what you're saying about there "never being hotseat in an MP expansion" was true. She replied by saying that the feature set for a multi player expansion is not set yet.

It was not set in February when it was said there may very well be hotseat / multiplayer in the next expansion. Guess what, DA is in Beta testing and has not been released, as of yet, to the masses and IS the first expansion.... Hotseat / multiplayer didn't make it into DAs feature-set. Sorry there guy.

The second expansion feature-set is not carved in stone at this time either (long before 2nd expansion) and you know what?

Well, it would be better to point to the following article from Cari (post #56 in this thread https://forums.galciv2.com/?forumid=346&aid=133712&p=2 titled 'at least.. we need .... Hot Seat mode' ) stating why Hot Seat needs more work than implementing a check box.
