Recommending game - 'Children of the Nile'

Since this is the 'general PC gaming' forum, I thought it would be ok to post this. I bought a game the other day for $15.00 at CompUSA that I think GC2 players would really enjoy. 'Children of the Nile' by Tilted Mill. It's a 'build an egyptian city' game from the 'Caesar 3', 'Pharaoh', etc, people. Very entertaining game, lots of depth and reminds me of 'GC2' in that it's very hard to stop playing!

I have played it, its a lot of fun for a bit, but there is a an issue with replayabilty since all the scenarios are basically the same.

Yeah, it is a watered down version of a city builder. No brains involved. boring.

I have the game, and even got into the beta for it. The game is a city builder with more defined goals, the problem is that the interface could have used alot more work. Your going to find people getting pissed off at you for reasons either you fixed, or you didn't know about. I'm a sucker for egyptian architecture, and building a pyramid was really great. I never got far into the game though, as it did take forever to get a city going. I did love pharaoh and the city builder series.

Can't wait for casear 4.
