On Vista Home Premium 32bit the latest beta ran fine and looked very smooth. I like the new Vista-style interface. This morning however my computer, totally unprovoked, would not boot into Windows - I'd BSOD out with a win32k.sys -8e style error. A bit of Googling in safe mode let me find one person out there who had the same problem, had deactivated Windowblinds and all was well. Hello all, I'm Jon from Swansea, South Wales (currently live in Leamington Spa), 3rd year Chemistry student at the Uni of Warwick. Hopelessly addicted to OS-customisation so Wincustomize.com has been my top bookmark for a while... am an OD subscriber and joined onto Wincustomize subscription to help the drive, and to give more back to the community that's been so good to me! Can't see how anyone could say £11 is too much for unlimited downloads.
I've tried loads of these... the feature on the Mac is known as Exposé, and there are quite a few similar ideas on the PC. My personal favourite is Winplosion, search for it on Google.
Everything in the entire theme is set to "Desktop Level"... Slightly odd problem... feels like there should be a simple solution. My custom-made DX theme loads on startup, is not particularly fancy. When I load other programs, such as Firefox or MSN Messenger, the window loads /under/ the DX theme... a small white band is visible at the bottom with Firefox. No running issues, not life-or-death, but it is slightly annoying. Anyone else had this?
