There's NEVER a good time to start having kids! Nevr has been and never will be. Ya just got a jump in there and do it. (er...you know what I mean, lol)
That's the truth Ruth! No w go do it!! [e digicons]:smitten:[/e] Baby Burl: Are you sure she doesn't have one of each in there? [e digicons]k2[/e] On Mama Rose: You will be a great mom at any age. My first was at 27, 30 with my second and 38 with my last. I am for sure done, but I am having a ball with my boys. Th
This was hilarious. Yeah, I vote for chocolate chip cookies too! [e digicons]^_^[/e]
I love Books. I love to read books. However, when I first went back to work with my last son I worked at his daycare as the cook. For half the day I was shut in the kitchen and I went through many audio books I checked out from the library. I liked it, but I had to be in really quiet surroundings to enjoy the whole thing. They would be great for a road trip. At least you will get to hear some books you wouldn't normally read. That's good.
Poor girl. My son had it this winter. Their poor throats hurt and you just want them to feel better. You take care of yourself so you don't get it.
If you keep doing the free write, eventually you will do the paid write. [e digicons][/e]
I saw this on Good Morning America, last week. I think. She was awesome. I think Rose saw her too. Now that's my kind of cooking too. She is 92. I believe, awesome.
I think consistency in whatever you do is one key element in success. Although, I guess that goes along with the long term goal and not just the instant gratification.
I must be really out of touch with the movies these days, cause I haven't heard of this one. It sounds good, I will have to hunt it down.
Congratulations! I'm glad you made it there safe and sound and mom and baby are o.k.
I am all for longer days, but the losiing one hour always messes with my head for a little while. I adjust to the extra hour of sleep in the fall, but losing an hour..blah...It takes about a week to get used to.
Every now and again I like to free write. I have to do it with pen and paper because I can't stop from editing, well spelling anyway, when I am on the computer. It seems you got some interesting thoughts going on as well as a cool tilde fence. To keep out the riff raff.
You bike ride sounded more like an adventure than a leisurely ride. I'm glad you got out. I am dying to get out. I was just looking at some summer pictures. I need some sunshine! Have a good weekend.
I'm super curious about your creative stuff. If it's kind of hush hush you could PM me if you want to share. I know you write. Do you do other stuff, too?
That's a good question. I am trying to get better at photography. I used to be very creative with cooking, but now I just write about it. It's not hush, hush. I am writing a series and before I start sharing them I want to have a bunch of them. I am very bad at starting but not finishing my writing projects. Or I t
My creative work is kind of at a standstill. It's one of those brainstorming things where I have a lot of ideas but not producing anything. It's like I see something interesting and I go, oooh! Shiney! ...Want to do that, too!
That happens to me all the time. I get too many ideas and don't follow through sometimes. I am slowly, and I do mean slowly working on a long term project. Keep your fingers crosses. It's good t
Even if I was throwing it at Kelly?
Hey!!! [e digicons]:P[/e]
These two older guys were drinking and when we hopped into line they started smiling because the drill instructors were screaming at us...one of them raised his glass, gave me a wink and said, "LOOK! There's Private Benjamin!"
You really could be private Benjamin. If you had of married the guy in the airport, now that would be a great story[e digicons]O:)[/e]
[e digicons]:O[/e]
Sn is the chemical symbol for tin by the way.
Know it all.[e digicons]:P[/e] Snoil = Tin Foil
Back in the day I wanted to be Private Benjamin. She did her thing and then got the cool beret.
Maybe if you bought the snuggie and filled it with Mannequin arms it could be Rose's all night snuggle. You start off the night then when she nods off, you make the switch. She is snuggled and you keep the feeling in your arms. [e digicons][/e] O.K. if there is a guy at a ballgame wearing a snuggie I am going to sit near him for a couple of reason. I get to hear all the insults flying his way and I get to catch hot dogs, popcorn and beer flying his way and I can sav
'd love to make my own hummus, but it calls for something (can't remember the name right off) that I can never find at the grocery store. I don't have time to run around town looking for it.
It's called tahini. You can substitute sesame oil and be close. I can send you some if you want. I used to have a recipe for an awesome black bean hummus. I will try to find it. It was so good and I am not a big hummus fan.
Me too. And maybe Write Something with her and go runnin' with her hubby or do a little bow hunting.
Hey, we can make it a picnic with the critters y'all catch. [e digicons]:d[/e]
So far so good! My next race will be a 10k sponsored by a Baptist Church over in a neighboring city. I don't figger they'll be givin away free beer when it's over though
They will be giving away fried chicken, mashed potatoes, red velvet cake and lemonade. Hey, I might need to come and cheer you on for the vittles! Roy, roy, roy...congratulations! [e digicons][/e] You did so good. All the hard work paid off for you. You are a bonafide living example o
I don't mind if he rings me at 5am as he did last week.
How did he call by phone or by brainwave? If he called by brainwave, is there rollover minutes? A family plan? Long term contracts? If Davie isn't for you in this world, maybe he will be yours in the next one. [e digicons]:
I'm jealous! [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e] I want to hang out with Tonya, and have a roast beef sandwich. I'm glad you girls had fun. Now, I have to check out the video.
