Pentagram: a 5 pointed star (with a point up) in a circle it is a wiccan holy image. Evil Pentagram: a 5 pointed star ( point down) in a circle a perversion of the wiccan holy image. Pentagram=rightside-up pentagram=holy Evil pentagram= upside-down pentagram=evil It's like a cross and an upside-down cross.
