i just updated my windows 11 (build 26100.1 to build 26100.6584, windows update KB5065426), and as soon as i tried to use a fence, my explorer started repeatedly crashing. After it did that for a minute or two, it gave me a popup telling me it disabled fences after it couldnt start up correctly, but my explorer stayed crashing and my cpu usage was still at 99% for like a solid minute. after that everything was fine, until i tried using my start11 features. those dont crash explorer but t
alright so somehow this seems to have resolved itself after a couple of explorer restarts. Still curious as to how id fix this though, for if it ever happens again. im on windows 11, no autoarrange, fences 6.02
Cant drag it anywhere when Fences is on, it just snaps back to the top left spot. I can move it if i disable it, but then if i reenable it, it again just snaps right back. I can also move all my other icons fine, its just the recycle bin. I found a couple old posts on here complaining about similar stuff on previous versions but no solution that fits for fences 6. .
worked, thanks!
this comes a couple reboots after i attempted to clone my ssd which involved some tampering with the boot order my bios and i possibly tripped my TPM in the process in some way, as it briefly interfered with other parts of my system when i booted back onto it. But now this. Im on the same computer, so i dont even know how id deactivate it. What exactly do i do here?
