I just had it lying around. Of note, I did do a cursory google search at one point but there weren't many good answers, or people asked the question and didn't get a response. I finally found a thread to follow in a reddit post somewhere and I just registered the game via Stardock's website. Once you do that you can download the latest version, and then you'll have to go through the normal registration process once the game boots up.

Hi all, A little over 10 years ago I purchased the physical version of this game from an Air Force Base Exchange. It's been with me through a lot of moves and for some reason I never opened it or played it. I have the itch now...I looked to see if I could download the game through the Windows store or via the XBox Windows 10 App and it's not on there. Obviously I know that a Games For Windows authentication key won't redeem via Steam. Anyone have any idea
