Paul does a fine job and sometimes in the end is hated for it. Without him this place would probably be non existent. He is committed! ......or should be committed. Here's an example of crap Paul has to deal with/ or not so... Years back, I had befriended another skinner ( he/she no longer is around). He/she showed me a series of chat messages he/she had faked in order to get Paul in deep doo doo. This person spent alot of time on this. They were done well. I just don't s
Anyone that allows words in a forum to get under their skin is a fucking moron. Your pain is self chosen.
I became a member for the advancement of skinning and betterment of the site. When I see this bus heading back that way,I'll hop right on.
[e digicons][/e]
Attention Whore- Label given to any person who craves attention to such an extent that they will do anything to receive it. The type of attention (negative or positive) does not matter. an attention whore tries to draw attention to themself without making it seem like she is.
Perhaps it is not that the skin isn't master quaility but the quality of what is a master skin these days is what changed. The allmighty dollar wins again.......
Tom is a class act! He gives way WAY more than he takes.
What is one to do when something they have given their all for turns around and kicks them in the ass? Accusations/ blame are being thrown around here and some of you have played a small part in my tantrum. Do you think I just decided to throw away almost a decade of pixel pushing over what you all think to be silly matters? I love skinning and will continue to do so. I just couldn't support something any loner that doesn't support me back. I really didn't
I am sorry to everyone that I had to do things my way. Making a post about leaving would only make things worse and is not necessary. I wish everyone the best. I have alot of good friends here. All I can say is that i strongly disagree with the direction the site has taken and don't wish to support it anymore. I would be the first to say... why take all your skins down, thats just childish... but in my case I felt it was best for me and my atttitude of no longer supporting WC
Dont let it go that swollen head John. This place has changed. Take care, be well. :)
So will this be available on WC?
Here is an quote from V from this older thread.. http://nighttrain2002.wincustomize.com/articles.aspx?aid=168014
I for one will stand by my guns and even if it is instituted as an accepted practice I will not, I repeat, will not post articles with skins for sale in the WC forums unless a specific cat
The info in the link I provided is about as dumbed down as it gets but a simplified answer is. Premultiplied alpha blends layers together better and cleaner than plain alpha. Don't try to make sense of it as it relates to skinstudio/ windowblinds because it doesn't make sense. You can have 2 images side by side in an image strip that are exactly identical yet one requires premultiplied aplpha to be turned on and another doesn't. [e digicons]o_O[/e]
This is the best explanation I have come across yet. http://www.td-grafik.de/ext/xfrog/alpha/index.html
The thing I dislike most about store bought PC's is that your trapped if you ever want to reformat. Even if your lucky and it comes with CD's you are never free from their OEM installed crap unless you go out and purchase Windows XP , Vista, or 7 seperately. When you get an update CD for WI 7 they will most likely just add more crap to that.
I take mild joy in knowing one day your heart will explode from taking drugs submitter. [e digicons]}:)[/e]
Give the window frames some of the aged look as the start menu or you'll go blind making the skin. [e digicons][/e]
Good for you Maryjane!!!! [e digicons]\o/[/e]
-Disabling various processes on startup (I've heard rumors about Nvidia conflicting with Windowblinds)
Does this include Nview? I believe that has given others problems in the past.
I was told there would be no math. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]
I understand if I get flamed and I don't blame you but he was a child in a man's body. One could see it as playing DR more than molestation.
Can you post a screenshot of the bleeding? Never did I think I would ask that question. [e digicons];P[/e]
The shadows are part of the images so you would need to edit the images themselves.
Hold on a sec... Nothing is wrong. 1. You are using the Leo skin with transparency and that's why things are bleeding through. Adjust the transperency in WB seetings if you do not want this. 2. Your grabbing the drop ahadow around the window frame and that is normal. 3. Not srue why the window cacheing isn't working properly but maybe there is a bug with wb and XP? What version of WB are you using?
How do you change the grab area settings?
Window frames/per pixel/borders/caption/extra/sizing area size Minimum that will work is 1. You have to have at least 1 pixel in width on the frames for something to grab.
The melting pot is boiling over. [e digicons][/e]
