When I try to login from the object desktop manager, I get an error. Ive already reset my password using the link in the manager login window, reinstalled the manager, can login to the website with the changed password but the desktop manager refuses to let me in. Any ideas? Gary
Also you have to remember that podcasting is VERY new. Less that two years of significant amounts of material. So there really hasn't been a lot of time to build awareness. I listen to podcasts a lot but I'm a techie and can deal with the less than convenient pod-catchers and players. When someone comes out with the "TiVo" version of a podcatcher/player, thats the killer app that will expand the audience. Well, I hate to vouch for a DRM system but I use RealPlayer and so far they have been great about moving music from one computer to another. I copy over the music files manually and then register the new computer with the Real Music Store and voila, everything works. If I remember correctly, they allow you to register up to five machines. I have my home computer and work laptop registered so I can listen either place. I just upgraded my home machine within the last month and moving the files
