I'll try a full re-install when I have a chance as well and update this thread. Glad it's not just me having the problem. Any Stardockers out there that know what's the problem?

I just installed GalCiv III, and everything was working fine for the first 2 days. Then there was an automatic update from Steam and since then there seems to be a serious video glitch. 1) On the diplomacy screen the image of the home planets is completely gone - I can still see the ranking of civilisations and can select them there to talk to them, but the visual is gone. 2) when ships enter into battle there are no visuals or cinematics </p
