FireFox Metaverse problem... in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

If i try to create a char for the metaverse i get to the "processing data" part and it hangs if i use Firefox, (the char is not created) With IE it is fine.

Thanks CariElf but so far no problems with it. I will admit I have only run it for a min, it loaded and i could move the candidate around. I signed up for TotalGaming and downloaded PM and GC-AP so I can play both while I am in exile in Germany for the next two weeks. I will check in a few weeks if there are any major issues. Thanks for the feedback, If you try your best that is the most i can ask. I will download the political machine demo and if that works I`ll join Total Gaming on Friday and get the full game (PM), was thinking about that anyway. If not, I might need to get a new PC first! :) I know my system is getting a little old, but I was not planning an upgrade for a year. If it can run Wolf3D, Homeworld, Mechcommander2 I hoped it could run GalCiv 2. Lets hope for the best

I loved GalCiv because it was a great game and because it needed a normal system to run it! Now a 3D Engines sound great, Look at what you can do with one. However these things tend to get a little crazy and then you need a dedicated 3D card with 64mb Ram to get a Strategy game to run!). The question for any dev's reading this is it worth me getting TotalGaming.net with the hope of joining in the Beta testing again on GalCiv 2 without me buying a new system? My yee old

Bug 1.03A Played game, experianced Graphics (Ship Icons) Display problems. These problems occured mid game. (If i rebooted the game from the save, the icons would be displayed for some time), however they would fail again, and more units would not display, (sensors, Combat transports) it looked like they were cloaked yet I could select and order them. Possible Bug (Metaverse) in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Just something i noticed today. First I submited a Domination victory, then I reloaded to try the Tech victory. Two things seem to be wrong. My tech victory is listed on my stats, shoudln't it be my first Domination Victory? Secondly I have been given the five game winner (1000+ score) when only 3 (1000+ games have been listed).
