Campaign mission 1 help in Twilight of the Arnor GalCiv2 Forums

I cannot seem to do this. I can finish off the Korath and Drengin easy. But the Dread Lord planet just seems unbeatable. Can someone help. Maybe patience is my problem - do I just zoom through turns going up the tech tree? What kind of tech do I need to kill these guys? They only have a single Dread Lord defender on the planet!! Any help will be greatly appreciated.
