Same here....I also made the mistake(?) of trying to re-register with my serial, and was informed that it was an invalid serial number.
It's a bit like Collapse, but with words and letters. Not nearly as addictive as multiplayer WordWars, though. And no, I'm not biased just because I wrote it. :)
Version 1.03A.057: I got lucky and the I-League popped up near me with only three systems. I captured them fairly quickly, and got the appropriate blurb about them being destroyed. For many more turns, through the end of the game, I still got messages about several Drengin systems joining the I-League. Sure enough, several of their former systems had indeed done so. The I-League didn't show up in the minor races tab, since it was "destroyed". I do believe this qualifies as a "b
1.03 version here too... The minimap zooms in on its own sometimes, but the percent doesn't change. I can zoom back out, which doesn't change the number, but does change the view.
The other bug threads seemed very version specific, and didn't cover this one. If I should have posted there anyway, I apologize for this separate thread. I have a saved game in this version that consistently crashes at the same point. Load the game, end the turn, and the "election year" window comes up. The game crashes immediately upon clicking on "Next". Stardock SmartException Logging Information ------------------------------------------- OS Version : Windows
Is this not allowed for some reason? Every game where I've wanted to do it the slider bars for that (and espionage) are immovable, locked at zero.
Pardon if this one's been listed...it's a niggling little thing anyway. When a new colony/transport ship is built, and it's the only ship on the planet, it is automatically highlighted as if selected in that box in the bottom-right. Only it isn't selected (you have to click on it first, which causes no visual change). Be nice if when there's only one ship, it truly is selected already.

Dumps me out to the desktop when I click on one of the last tabs on the game summary screen (Social, if I remember right). GALCIV.EXE.CRA contains this: Application Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION Crash Addr: 005A54CB 01:001A44CB C:\GalCiv\galciv.exe Processor Registers (x86): EAX:06A84E48 EBX:00164EA0 ECX:CCCCCCD8 EDX:7EFEFEFF ESI:0056D751 EDI:06A89053 CS:EIP:001B:005A54CB SS:ESP:0023:0012FC98 EBP:0012FCC4 DS:0023 E
Now that's certainly possible. I use Mozilla 1.3, although I do have IE6 installed (and I tried restoring it as default to see if that would work...no dice).
Interesting...since I installed from CD (I have a 26.4k connection, "no thanks" to downloading). I did install GalCiv first, THEN Stardock, then updated to 1.02.
I'm having the same problem with all the links in the main menu (except play game and exit). It doesn't make any difference if a browser is running.
