Massive Frustration in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I'm *TRYING* to play this game, which everybody tells me is the greatest thing since Civilization I, and after about THREE turns, the stupid TURN button becomes inactive, I've moved ALL my ships, checked ALL my planets, and the (*&(^%*&^T(*&^)*&^) GAME WON'T LET ME CONTINUE!!!!!! Now, is there any way around this or have I just blown forty bucks on a POS?????
