AutoSurvey doesn't work right all the time. Sometimes I'll click on that and my survey ship will go merrily along and pick up anomalies forever -- which is perfect. Sometimes it'll autosurvey until it hits the first anomaly, and then it turns the autosurvey off. Sometimes I'll click on autosurvey and the ship won't budge or put the text "autosurvey" under it. Huh? ~SDC~

Yes, I'd really like a full list of everything that was added with the bonus pack, please. ~SDC~
Crap, I knew I forgot something! With the "1 per galaxy" projects, I've seen numerous times where multiple races will develop the same thing in the same year. That's a bug, I guess. But the suggestion is for when I'm building one of those unique items and another race beats me to the punch -- sometimes I have the time to switch my project to something else, but more often than most I lose all of the resources I've spent on that project. Those resources should be *saved* to give you a chance
I have a few suggestions concerning AI ship movements and combat in particular. (1) Please at least make the option to *slow down* the AI movement animation. When the computer and auto pilots move, the screen starts jumping around so fast I can't keep track of where the heck in the galaxy these ships are moving and where they're moving to. This forces me to spend the beginning of my next turn scanning through the galaxy to see where the ships are now, and that's just a pain. Civiliza
I'm 26. Interesting to see how the demographics are leaning away from the teen/college crowd and much more toward young and older adults. ~SDC~
I do want to add to all these suggestions that I really appreciate the great work you guys have done on this game so far. I love having many options and choices that are hard to make, and I've laughed quite a few times so far at some of the text. Your commitment to the one-year support and continued development of GalCiv was a deciding factor in my purchasing the game. Thanks! ~SDC~
Just finished playing my first full game (plus a number of "re-starts"), and I'll chime in with a couple suggestions that I know have been said in one way or the other already: (1) Rally points. Please. When you're trying to build an offensive fleet, it's a pain to have to go to every system and pick out the offensive ships from the defensive ones in that little icon list. (2) We *need* some sort of clearer "tech tree" layout on the research screen. Not knowing what you're r
I've had the game crash out to Windows twice so far, both after I made fairly rapid decisions/clicking.
I didn't have a problem downloading, but the entire process was incredibly confusing. People have said it elsewhere on here, you had to sign up twice for things, you had serial numbers and registration numbers and no helping hand to guide you through it. Easy, easy fix. Just set up a page on the web site to walk you through the registration / download process.
Great game so far! Suggestions: (1) Option to turn on grid marks (sometimes it's a bit hard to tell how far away ships are from something). (2) Option to tell the computer not to auto-end a turn if all ships are moved (maybe this is in there and I overlooked it, but I've had the computer just zip to a new turn before I was ready). (3) Graphical representation of buildings on planets, even if small and icon-ish (a la the Civilization games)
