I am purchasing this game and downloading now off of the strength of the Gamespot review. I respect that site very much. Though Civ 4 does have the advantage of multiplayer, how about the argument that the AI in Galciv 2 is far superior to that of Civ? I don't understand why the Stardock designers can create a competent "no cheating" AI and yet the team at Civ still can not do so at the higher difficulty levels. I just purchased the game and am downloading 1.0x.009. Is this the new version that this post is referring to?

I have had a problem with trade routes. We are supposed to get 3 by default, and an additional when we research advanced trade. Well I did....but still won't let me create a new route, saying we are maxed out. When I went up to intertsellar trade, or whatever the next jump is, it did give me one more route, but I am still mad that I am one down. Also...any chance of getting a feature where ships guarding a planet are not shown on the ship list?
