Follow up to this. After 5 additional days of remote logins where I set the background to a solid color, I have had no further crashes.

I tried the cleanboot method, and this did not work. I eventually found this trick from a 2019 post. My problem only seems to occur when snapping during a remote desktop session. I changed the background to solid color instead of a picture and so far haven't seen the problem for a few days. Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, it did not solve the problem. I went through the purge and reinstall steps twice, and even upgraded to the most recent version (4.0.0.3). I continue to have the same problem. When I quick snap a window, the entire desktop goes blank, then black, then everything restarts including Fences. Once it happens, sometimes it will be stable for a while (i.e., I can go back to snapping windows no problem), but other times its relentles
On fences 3.1.3.3, when I try to split screen on windows 10, it causes fences to quit and restart. This did not happen with previous versions. Here is a link to a video showing what happens: https://vimeo.com/647588851 Thoughts?
