OK, a fresh re-install fixed my problems. I switched from Win98SE to WinXP last week and that probaly screwed things up.

My problems with 1.1 are: No lock on the military, research and social sliders no autolaunch box the abilities of the current research topics are not shown on the research screen. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

I've just installed 1.09(a)and see where left clicking on the research tree takes you to the tech navigator. I know where the tech screen is but can'y find the research tree within the game itself.

Yeah, or install the CD first. I solved my problem by requesting the numbers of all my products. I got an zipped update of Stardock that had my number. Worked like a charm. Neat system. Thanks for replying. ~SDC~

I bought the CD and d/l'd the bonus pack but not 1.01, of course. I then installed Star Dock and expected a registration number. Haven't got one. Please advise. Thanks. Jim Cobb
