I have no idea what you mean regarding me having witnessed a program breaking. IP Explorer never worked since Day One, so it couldn't have possibly corrupted IP itself or any other software. Regardless, thanks for the assistance.

Thanks for this information I was sure I had read through Help files which said IP Explorer was used for this feature. Maybe it is, but you're right: the properties dialogue works fine. Of course, I still would like all the features of the software to be functional, so we'll see what Stardock has to say or what I find on UseNet. Thanks again.

Anyway, I purchased the registered version of IP 2.5 and was looking forward to the feature that allows for EXE icons to be changed. From what I understand, this is accomplished by using IP Explorer. Yikes. I also used F3 within Regedit and had a field day deleting the references. What I did is delete an essential key by mistake, thereby leaving the blank, but checkable toolbar option. The good news for me is that I use only Google's search bar, and it functions the same as always, even after the blunder. Thanks much for providing the pertinent registry keys. I'll bet you've heard this a lot since it is covered in the FAQ... So yes, I read the FAQs, I followed the directions to delete cookies and temp files and start over. My account was properly cross-referenced after I purchased Icon Packager last night, but I'm still listed as a Level 2 user. Unless I'm missing something, Level 2 is for folks who have not purchased a Stardock product. Level 3 is supposed to provide unlimited downloads at WinCustomize for those who have purchased a Stardo

If anyone can please provide the link to where the removal instructions are located, I'd greatly appreciate it. Stinking, rotten, miserable Xupiter installed itself on my PC a few days ago after linking to some ambiguous website. It has nothing to do with WinCustomize or Stardock.
