Technological/Manufacturing Capitals and Bonus Tiles in Game Talk GalCiv2 Forums

Hello, you know how the Capitals for Technological and Manufacturing increase production/research on/from the planet by a percentage? Does the effectiveness of that percentage increase if you put it on a corresponding bonus tile? Such as a Manufacturing capital on a precursor factory zone or whatever the bonus tile is called. Or is the bonus nil and void?
