guys - thanks. have uninstalled objectbar (. the only reason i loaded object bar was to use hotkeys and get rid of the stupid start button. guess ill have to live with the start button. as for the shortcuts, ive installed strokeit - creates mouse gestures in all applications

good stuff c242. the only time my CPU (not memory) was maxed out, was when i used a stock ticker. that used upto 70% of CPU power. once i deleted that from my theme - was back to normal. and has anyone ever known these apps crash?

Have a shareware version of OB, and i use it for a taskbar and systray. My icons have this habit of disappearing a couple of minutes after i boot up. Im left to guess what position the systray icons are in and click on them, sometimes with undesirable consequences. Any pointers?
