Keep in mind that while fixing this, not all of us want it fixed. :) I like the fact I can move the mouse outside the window and click on another window. The only annoying part is that the game minimizes when I do so. I would like the game to stay full screen on that monitor even when I switch to something on the other monitor. I often switch back and forth between the game and other things I'm doing which have higher priority.

Or for that matter, add a "scrap" check box or button on parts when you open a loot box where you can check each part in the box so it scraps when you close the window and add a "scrap a
It's all about guarantees. There is some balancing to be done for sure, but the tradeoff is simply intended to be one of guarantee vs. price (at least in the build you have; it's a bit diff in the next update). We'll certainly fix it so that it's not as out of whack as it is currently once we're farther. TBH, we haven't stressed too much about the cheap boxes being too good. Better for
Well, you don't have to use them;) The thought behind them was that someone would enjoy that tradeoff. Inhouse, those are often accompanied by shields to blunt the damage during movement (or Servo is dropped next to Blink). If you use tactics like that to factor out the movement penalty, then they're much more interesting.
<

My "Awesome Pants" are "Priceless" because I can't think of a price low enough to sell them for. Actually, I'd probably pay someone to take them from me. They reduce walking speed to 80% of normal speed, so you actually need the extra hitpoints they provide just to survive the extra damage you take walking past a turret or even getting there in the first place. They are worse than useless. If I take off the pants entirely, I am better off. And what's with my "Sharp P

Ok, so I have opened 3 of the 25k loot boxes so far and loads of other level boxes. Here is what I found: All three 25k boxes gave me 2 Epic parts and some scrap. Of the 6 Epic parts I got from those boxes, I use 2 and sold the rest for scrap. Of the several 10k boxes I have opened, I get anywhere from 2 - 4 parts from them and occasionally find something worth using. The rest get sold for scrap. Of the several 5k boxes I have opened, I have so far gotten 2 - 3 parts f

First, what the heck is the "quality" factor for a part? It doesn't appear to do anything other than control the up or down arrows. I have several "common" weapons which do more damage than purple and even epic weapons on a per second basis, but the up arrow shows up on the epic ones simply because they have a higher "quality" number. The common weapons are clearly superior due to the enhanced DPS. For example, I have two one-handed pistols at rarity "better" which do above 17 DPS

Running 1.01 now: 1) Ship movement points in fleet is missing 2) Launching ships from a shipyard which requires you to select how much population does not tell you what type of ship it is for!! I launch colony ships with 0.5 units of population while I launch transports with 2.5 - 6 units of population. Unfortunately, I can never tell which type of ship it is asking about! 3) AI declares war before they can even attack me. I mean, seriously, why would yo

I guess that would make more sense. It would be rather strange to have a starbase with both lasers and death rays. In that case, the improvement in firepower needs to be larger or starbase defenses are essentially useless late game. There also needs to be a way to progressively increase starbase hitpoints as the game progresses. 200 HP is fine early game, but by late game, it's a bit of a joke.

1) Nightmare Torpedoes research takes less research time than Photon Torpedoes. For me, Photon Torpedoes took 3 turns and Nightmare Torpedoes took 1 turn. I researched them right in a row, and Photon Torpedo progress filled about 1/3 with each turn, so there should have been very little carryover research to Nightmare Torpedoes. 2) Various defense modules on a starbase list a certain bonus but give far less actual improvement. For example, shields which list +30 or +45 to shield stren

Personally I'm fine with a countdown time (3 min?) to determine the winner once the last stock has been bought (assuming stocks are valued more rationally so hence it's harder to finish it end game)
I am also fine with a countdown time, but only when two players remain AND all stocks have been bou
I really need to study the tool tip over stock price more, but I have a theory on your buyout valuation. Given Soren's comments, cash provides a diminishing return on stock value. However, stock holdings in other companies may not. I have played a few AI games where I own all, except for the final buyout, in a couple of companies, and they own me. I say to myself, I'll just sell some stock in one company to
Well even in the stock market world if a company has more cash than liabilities the stock value tends to atleast follow the cash-liabilites value. (the logic being that this cash is left for the shareholder no matter what happened. Other assets than cash are more fickle as it is always a question if book value is the true asset value) And most of the time stock prices are actually much more, especially for growth driven investments. &nbs

The problem with pricing is that it really makes no sense. It would be equivalent to buying 2.5 million cash with 1.5 million cash. And that's not even talking about other assets. If it is an economic game, it needs to at least follow basic math principles. Otherwise it is more about who knows all the peculiar quirks of the game vs who actually played the best game. Think about it in real life. If you could buy a company for 1.5 mil that had 2.5 mil cash on hand, you would do it,

A basic minimap with a colored dot for each player HQ would be fantastic. That's really all I need. It would sure beat panning around trying to locate where I dropped my solar panels or whatever. I would just remember where I put them on the map in general and just click there on the minimap and would waste so much less time panning.

I have played quite a few games now, and the one reoccurring theme is an issue with stock pricing. The stock pricing doesn't make sense and doesn't seem to keep up with company value changes. 1) In the latest game, I had $2.5 million in cash on hand and owned 4 level 5 companies (mine plus 3 others). I owned all my own stock and 70% of the remaining person's stock. His total buyout price for my company was about $1.5 million. My debt was about $80k at

This sounds not so great... I can already determine which spell books I want. The problem is that there is little to no trade off for picking them and not enough difference between the books. Moving the spell books into the tech tree only makes things worse. Ra

I do not like this. I think a far better method would be to limit cities ec

Some thoughts about how things should change in these aspects: 1) Cities that have population drop (by removing housing, etc) should loose land control. If you get to level 5 and it gives you control over 3 more gold mines and you remove those houses, you loose the gold mines. 2) Cities with low prestige next to cities with high prestige should grow more slowly, and if the difference is large, maybe the low prestige cities should even shrink. This would be a goo

Actually, I think the economy is pretty well balanced. Except maybe the per-turn cost of units needs to be cut in half to be realistic. You just need to build more units. They will eat through all those resources much more quickly. If you jack up the cost to support units you will end up with more free metal and more free resources because you don't have enough gold to make enough units to use them. When you start fighting Ogres with 150+ attack with real units and when the AI gets off it's b
