EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION 0x0044e85c ? in Demigod Technical Support Demigod Forums

I have bought this fine game after trying it at a friends house, and i must admit i was sold right away. Bought the game over the net (live in EU) but now I seem to have a problem. I can instal the game, i can loging, set my prefs and everything... except the all important one of actualy playing the game. As soon as I start a skirmish, tournament or any other gametype the game crashes giveing me this message EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at
