I've got 2 very basic improvements I would like to see: 1. As per a previous post, no hyphens or spaces in names prevents some high profile hyphenated or otherwise names from being included. 2. There's very little attention paid to the Bobblehead bodies. Every single woman is in a skirt. The two most high-profile female candidates of the last several election cycles wear pantsuits. And I mean, there are frequent patterns to their colors, too. Imagine Tulsi Gabbard. Do yo

Just wanted to comment that custom candidates' last names do not support hyphens or spaces. This leaves some high profile folks out, including Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, Sen. Hyde-Smith, and even the included Sen. Cortez Masto would not have been able to be created (at least without it being CortezMasto). Love seeing continuous improvement, keep it up!

Many of the new Republican candidates are against repealing Obamacare (that internal name, yo) again. Notably, Romney, Haley, Ron Paul, Gingrich, maybe others. I figured Huntsman might actually be correctly in favor of it.

It was usually the Later Show, and I believe I have tested it with at least Sanders, Clinton, Trump, and Cruz. I can do a little more testing and pin down the specific question(s). Will reply later to this thread.

Anyone else missing Nancy Pelosi assets? Previously she had the great bobblehead from 2012, but I did a fresh install on a new machine and now I'm seeing her as the default and she's missing her snapshot.

Hello! Great job with the updates, you folks have really addressed people's grievances from Issues to map colors. I had a question about Interviews. Even with high Intelligence candidates, I seem to be running into instances where I only have one bad interview answer to choose from. Is this now modified by other factors than Intelligence? Glad to see The Later Show come to fruition after seeing it in the files and pretty great writing with the morning show.

"One of the ratings on our candidates is intelligence and one of our designers had given Donald Trump a three out of ten. If we have Donald Trump rated as a three he is basically a moron. You’ll find plenty of people who will say “Donald Trump IS a moron” but do you really think Donald Trump is that mentally handicapped?" In defense of low-intelligence characters, I thought Intelligence was mainly used for available interview questions. The fact is,

Yeah, I've seen something like this. In my experience, it seems like when I play as a Republican, no matter what I support, I get 0% gains. But if I expose something everyone favors, like Deficit Reduction, +19% favorability.

Yeah, it sounds like the plan is to include anyone who was significant on the national stage running for president this time around. Can't wait for that Gilmore v Lessig fantasy campaign. [e digicons]:D[/e] Haha.

I just had Marco Rubio make a speech voicing his opinion against Deficit Reduction, which showed 3 red thumbs pointed down. I gained +16 favorability. This has been added to the ticket with the saved game.

Thanks for your response! I have submitted a ticket, #HGM-259-43842. Included is a save game taken directly after Donald Trump lost 19% points following a speech. I wonder what he said... I have seen these spikes several times now with different candidates, and it's most noticeable when the opponent makes a speech. I do not believe I have ever seen such a dramatic change on my character. I'll see if I can find anything more concrete.

Hi again guys. Just want to repeat my congratulations and appreciation for the work you've done. Thanks for keeping one of my favorite little obsessions alive every 4 years. It's something I have come to look forward to around this season. Here's my gripes, anal-retentiveness, and genuinely good-spirited observations on Issues and Traits, as well as Balance: <span style="text-decoration: under

Congratulations on the early access launch! Great to see the next iteration of The Political Machine in full swing! Below is a list of things I think have been done great, as well as some things that I feel could use some tweaking. I fully understand this is in early access and I appreciate the hard work that's been done so far so please don't take this as mean-spirited criticism. I like politics, and I've enjoyed the series since 2008 and always spend more time than I

I actually really like all of these ideas, pretty much in the order you posted them. Primaries would be fun - New Hampshire and Iowa would naturally carry more weight as they can muster up early support and enthusiasm, followed by Colorado, New York, Nevada, South Carolina, North Carolina. If your candidate doesn't do well in these, it will be harder to stop the momentum - but not impossible. The debates could get pretty fun and silly, too. Speaking

Great. I get the Big Bird thing, but now that we've seen the other two debates, I'm pretty sure the president is back to a 9, and you may as well throw in Horses and Bayonets about a broader debate between beefing up the military or making it slimmer and streamlined. But I guess I can do that myself, huh? Not getting this update.

A few months ago, TPM 2008 stop functioning. I had purchased this game in 2008 and installed in on THIS machine and it worked like a charm. For years. Suddenly, in late July or early August, it fails to start up anymore. I took this to tech support. After days and days of back and forth e-mails, getting an fresh copy installed on my machine through e-mail, and running a diagnosis program, it was determined that my graphics drivers were not able to run this game. What. After just shy o

I've uploaded The Daily Show host Jon Stewart, the most trusted man in fake news, for your campaigning pleasure (I think the game mentions him in passing as Stewart Johnson in the Coldcut Repretoire's opening).
