> Bug 1 . edit - never existed. ;s > Bug 2 . (Not sure if it's a bug, maybe an exaggeration in the description or all as intended... still, it doesn't feel right, so I mention it) The offensive upgrade level 2 adds phase missile turrets, which are described as "a great advantage of long range against any attacker" (or sth like that). Well, while having a m

Yes, I'm saying that Overseer will bring the Starbase above the number of hit points it should have at that specified moment of construction. I.e. the Starbase is not considered having her maximum hull increased over time until it's constructed, but it is instead considered severely damaged at start and regenerating its hull max hit points and shield points over the construction period - which you can hasten with overseers. I'll see if carrier works as well. It will be ha
the research on the Vasari dreadnaught that increases the amount of damage ... it's actually working now, lol!
Ha! And people said I was crazy when I reported it as a bug. Nibs. The argument about the Vasari starbase being useless, because your fleet kills the enemy before they're done, is invalid - make colony pods upgrades and rack profits or build trade port upgrades to have a very hard to destroy trade port.<
I can see no problem in three starbases, one of each allied faction, located in one grav well. Look at this from this perspective: every player has a fleet. Can he bring his whole fleet to one gravity well? He can. Can all allied players bring their whole fleets to the same grav well? They can. If there was a hard limit of one starbase per gravity well, they would be useless in 3+v3+ battles, cause one starbase against three fleets isn't much of a threat.
That is a mean way to respond. This forum is not your personal playground, so if you can't stand other people posting feedback on the game in the Feedback section, simply go read another topic or get the hell outta here altogether. You are free to admit you like the status quo, just don't think anyone has to drop the game because YOU like it the way it is. That's an invalid argument. As for the OP, the bottom line of your problem is not three starbases defendi
I think the Vasari Emperor came home very late and drunken to boot one day, and now his wife is chasing him with a kitchen knife (plasma-phase blade, of course) all over the galaxy.
I'm nowhere near you and I can still tell that you stink.
Hopefully Frasers & IC manage to kill those goddamn sync bugs and all that stuff that was popping up now and again ever since 1.1 was released. I wish I see a single product in this damned money sucking industry that has its "final version" actually less buggit than its first beta. I'm not complaining here. Actually, with all the ironclad's commitment to it, Sins happen to be the focus of my hopes. I just hope...

I play games so rarely that I never even bothered to buy any other peripherial crap. X-718F + some standard KB and we're good. My wrists are too pr0 to take any casualties even if I devote a night for playing once a while.
You're obsessed!! Do you wake up everyday and brush your teeth wondering what happens today that might increase SoaSE online player counter? You're freaked. [e digicons]8O[/e] Anewayz I hope sync bugs get cleared soon and an official final patch gets out. Some people might think wrong of Sins if they buy it, go online and get desynced out on their first game.
IF the 9 AIs ganged up on you, you would be dead in like 30 minutes. Go over the replay and see that, in fact, they DO battle each other quite a lot. AI players tend to try to be everywhere, sending stuff in all directions. I had a me vs 9 AIs game on a Huge Random Multi star map. After like 5 hours I did become attacked by the 6 remaining AIs (I got rid of the 3 others in that time) at once. But I did have Highly Attuned Sensors (Vasari playa) and I did see that while

My answer is: Repair Cloud heals over time. If it is applied before the damage is taken, then any damage dealt to a squad affected by the repair cloud is immediately mitigated, unless it is instantly lethal. As you said, better for longer games at the end. A single launch of RA doesn't give you back the money you spent on Imp. Labs instead of going military. However, if you use it 3 times over 10 planets, you got yourself a huuuge fleet worth over 120.000 credits for 75.000. That's 45.000 credits you can spend on their Bounty ;]
... or have a few Marauders leveled ;) Yes indeed you need Fleet Points for RA. But you need them for normal Fleet construction too, so I took it for granted and didn't mention. However, remember that while Clicking on "build ship" with no fleet points doesn't hurt you, firing a RA for 2,500 credits to get nothing is a BAD idea.
1) It's StabILIZER , not stabalizer. It's stabilizes, not stabs anything. 2) Phase stabilizers allow your fleet to jump between gravity wells with a Stabilizer present. Suppose the shortest way from planet A to B is: A ------ Pirate Base ------- Some Plazma Storm -------- Some planet -------- B Normally going from A to B takes days - you have to go around the pirate base, through plasma storm, wait until your ships fly around the last planet an
If the topic continues on like this, Blair will simulate a suicide, change name and move into icecream industry ;p.
Jugding by the last few posts - Blair and Craig have a truckload of sync work to do before they start working on the beta again.
wth are u talking about? RA is fine. What Advent automatic upgrades? And what in the world is wrong with novalith??
It's not really a mod related question , but it's closer to modding than strategy or multiplayer ;p. I like the ingame map designer. I like it because you can both make a map that looks more or less what you'd want it to, but still a random one, giving you the fresh feeling every time you play it. I think this is a very good tool. I'm having a lil problem tho. I can't figure out a way to control home planet's placement. Example: - I make a <-|--------&g

And sacrificing 80% of the planet defenses to block one phase lane effectively seems like a potentially OK tactic, why not. Right now every other PJI is a 4 second delay for any decent fleet, so unless AI/Player is blind enough to see the PJ
Maybe you can overspam carriers with cobalts or disc. vessels and sheer numbers will be enough to kill the carriers. Still, you will lose a hell lot of them even before they start shooting at the carriers. Carriers have the advantage of being able to kill quickly over the whole grav well, without having to worry about immediate retaliation
