Planet texture help in Sins Modding Sins Forums

Does anyone know where I can find a tutorial on how to make new planet types and textures? I'm sorry to bother everyone as I imagine this is a very common question, but I have searched the forum multiple times without success. When people have asked this in the past, someone usually links to an old tutorial on the subject, but I always get a '403 - permission denied' error. So could some kind person please give a working link?
