I put this under the hook folder which, from my understanding just overwrites that section of the code. I left the minpoints and maxpoints as they were, but changing them would probably be a better idea. It's simple enough that players can just change them as they acquire more favor points, though, so I'm going to leave the posted version as is. Thanks for the feedback.

I don't know about the skirmish thing, but it's not meant to affect that at all. yes to your final question. I'll look into the starting gold thing. I changed literally three lines of code in lua/game.lua # Difficuly handicaps for the three different AI difficulty levels DifficultyHandicaps = { ... # Hard { &nbs
NOTE: Attempting to use this mod for a skirmish game WILL CRASH THE GAME. If someone can figure this out, great, but I have no intention of fixing this, since I made this mostly for my personal enjoyment and uploaded it as an afterthought. This is a mod that levels the playing field for the hard difficulty level of the tournament. With this mod enabled, enemies and allies experience the same multipliers to their experience, gold, and starting gold. E
I just made a mod that makes the hard tournament completely balanced. I'll be uploading it soon
Does it really matter if people aren't "hurt" by higher taxes. The point is, they worked for their money, and other people think that they are entitled to the work of others. That's called slavery.

Steam is absolute crap compared to impulse, not only is it a pain to connect to (I have to delete clientregistry.bl
So I just recently bought the game and played through a game on Dread Lords. I loved it and decided to go straight to Twiliight of the Arnor, since I'm not bothering with the campaign. Basically, I found out that I really hate the espionage introduced by the expansions. It feels so much more frustrating and less rewarding than the original espionage. Is there a mod for TA that includes the base game espionage? (I checked the forums some, but I couldn't find any)
I know that this has been said before, but I don't think that it's ever had it's own thread. We really need new win conditions. Sure, the "absolutely crush your opponent down to the last planet" thing works for small games, but when you have 7 to 9 opponents, it's just ridiculous. The amount of time it takes just to mop up is obscene. Thus, I thought it would be a good idea if we as a community banded together to come up with (realistic) win conditions that could be imp
I second the pirate ideas mentioned by the TC (as well as the separate black market button) Also wanted: The (hopefully) future black market button to show the market graph
