Direct ip? in Sins Multiplayer Sins Forums

i bought sins a few days ago, totaly love it. But i'm kinda wondering...is there direct ip with this game? and if thats so...the host just sets up the server and the one's joining just fill in the adress and port at join lan game or sumthing? Hope ya'll can help out this lil n00b :P
