I've updated and tried to adjust this again. I've found that the dialog box changes for font, bold, italics affect both the tab text and the text under the icons, but the size does not, i.e. if you change the size the tab text changes but the text under each icon does not change.

I'm altering StealthOS. I've managed to change the inactive window border color by changing the tga files with Photoshop. Ah. I kept looking in Change Skin Fonts and Change Skin Colors. Thanks. One more question. I found the background color of application toolbars and menus, but how about the background color of dialog boxes? I'd like them to go back to white.

There is specific color in the skin I use that is messed up. It is a very dark blue. In the normal Windows color scheme it is the Tooltip background. That color is used on some important web pages I use daily, and the text used by the page is black, so it's almost impossible to read. If I change the tooltip background color on the display properties it's OK. Problem is, every time I reboot or apply the skin it changes back. I'm trying to ch

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I went thru it all AGAIN. Could I get a response please? Additional info; the screen painting issue is far wider spread than I originally thought. It can happen anywhere, Right now I have part of the properties box of the taskbar showing thru the transparent task bar after the Properties box was closed.
