This may not be a bug as much as a design oversight. Either way, it felt wrong. Around turn 100 I met the Tarth. I'm pretty noob, so I had roughly a 25 kingdom rating. The Tarth had about an 11 kingdom rating. Immediately upon meeting them ( without ever actually entering their territory or engaging in a battle with them ) I went into the diplomacy screen and declared war on them. I then noticed that I could offer to accept their surrender.&nbs

I agree. These targetting problems are super-annoying. It is often very difficult to actually click a target and I find myself rotating the map around just so I can try to click from a different angle. Playing with the grid off is well and good, but when you are trying to plan out future locations of units based on how many moves they have, this isn't really going to be an option...
I haven't actually play the original [FF:Tactics], however the DS games were not too bad - albeit a little too childish in their presentation for my liking. The problem with getting a hold of this one seems to be it's rather limited release - it's a cult classic now, however it's a bastard to find.
Thread is seriously getting hijacked... But in regards to this, the DS (and Gameboy Advance) sequels to FFT were very dumbe

Assuming that you are interested in RPG / Strategy games (based on the forum in which you are posting and the games you purchased already), here are my suggestions: Final Fantasy Tactics - (If you somehow managed to never play this, you have done yourself a disservice.) Please ignore the goofy translation and steep learning curve. Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen (limited edition) - amazing strategy game, originally for SNES was re-released on PS1. Figured it out yesterday when I discovered the same issue happening in another 3d intensive program. Hadn't seen it before, so I apologize. It's a hardware issue. Power supply is 3 years old and on its last leg (apparently). It seems it was periodically dropping the voltages to some of my hardware. I guess DG was just the most intensive thing I run right now, so it managed to hit the issue first.
AI, uneven teams, DG just plain being on the wrong side(UB on forces of light for example).
You're right, there shouldn't be AI in the games, that is silly. But in my experience, it rarely happens. Certainly nowhere near "half" of my games. As for DGs being on the wrong side, I have not seen this once in my admittedly limited sample, but I feel safe assuming it is quite rare. As for uneven teams,
Pantheon is broken, so what should they say?
I get matched in pantheon games in a few minutes tops, and generally the game begins without a hitch. Once in a while it will hang on "waiting for other players," but I don't see that as being related to pantheon. One time I ended up in a game that was 3 humans versus me and 2 AIs, another was 3 humans vs. 3 AIs, and another was 2 humans vs. 1 human (with no AI)

So generally about once per game I will freeze up for about 30 seconds -- which freezes not only me, but everyone else in the game. Once things start moving again my graphics are totally broken (see pic). Now, my first thought was that my video card was overheating (although I've never had a temp problem before playing other graphic intensive games i.e. Fallout3 / Obli

How much longer until stat tracking works? I am pleased to say that it appears all of my games are tracking in the pantheon now and counting towards my record (good job!). However, please make the 3 minute concede "no harm done" start from the point the game actually begins, not from the point where you get hung at "waiting for other players" as the game tries to load. That's pretty useless. My last "loss" in pantheon came when the other 3 players disconnecte

Was bound to happen. Really. I like how at 56-1 you are the 13th ranked Erebus player. The 2nd ranked Erebus player is 3-3. Now them's some stats! http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/demigods/player/26778/
Frogboy, you should really give them a gold reward for choosing random, like 200-300 gold from the start or something. Cuz im betting my hat collection that most ppl dont wanna pick random if they dont get any kind of reward for doing so
I'm guessing you haven't played many other RTS's in a multiplayer setting, cause your "bet" is simply incorrect. Essentially, "random" as an option is typically a standard feature for this

I have no idea whether that is actually a problem or not. But from the same site, there is a more recent article (from 6 months later) that states Comcast was undoing their anti-p2p measures. http://www.geeksaresexy.net/2008/03/27/comcast-does-180-on-p2p-blocking/
And now for something completely different, why there are no 4v4 or 5v5 Pantheon matches? Will there ever be?
This is a bit off topic - but this question has actually been answered previously. Rather than finding a link, I'll summarize: Pantheon is currently restricted to 2v2 due to how much upload bandwidth is required and how much that number increases as you start adding players. Lots of people hit problems as you go beyond 4 people in game, and thi

The system would be well served by (again) borrowing from WC3 and allowing players a certain number of "vetos"
