Honestly, there are so many other things to worry about when playing, I'm happy the Z-axis doesn't play a bigger role in the game. I have my hands full already, and I like commanding my empire from a zoomed-out view, which would make Z-axis tweaking near impossible.

This sounds like a cool idea. I'm gonna start by actually getting the game (EB Games should have my copy today) and playing it to get a better feel for what would be required. You can add my name to the list of "interested developers".

Hey all, I've recently started to play DA after a few games of DL. Dark Avatar, however, is giving me quite a few headaches early game. I'm playing at the Normal difficulty, Large galaxy, Planets/Stars set to Common, Research set to Normal speed, 9 opponents and 8 minor races. I'm playing as the Drath Legion.
