(help) not letting me use custom tech trees in Twilight of the Arnor GalCiv2 Forums

my computer crashed recently, and all my twilight data was wiped and i had to reinstall the game, however, as far as i can tell my custom tech trees/ship parts etc were preserved, the editor recognizes them and all my custom techs are in place, but when starting a new game, recreating my main custom race, my tech tree isnt in the tech list, i already tried moving the tech tree file around to different possible folders but nothing, any help will be apriciated thx :D

linking techs with improvments? in Twilight of the Arnor GalCiv2 Forums

how do i link custom techs with custom improvements? like a certain improvement wont be available untill the tech is researched? and also i am having trouble getting rid of a way overpowered improvement i made just for fun :P if u could help with that too id greatly apriciate it thx g2g first day of school and such

HELP! in Twilight of the Arnor GalCiv2 Forums

i was messing around with the tech tree editor trying to get a custom tree to work and now for some reason several tech are missing for all the tech trees, even the ones i never opened, most noticeably theres nothing comming off the techs of industrial revolution or traditional research. i tried re-installing the game it ddnt work plz help -_-

Tech tree crashing in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

i know i already...sort of posted about this but i fealt that it belonged in the Bug reports section whenever i try to make a custom tech tree with the twilight editor and then try to use it in a game, the game crashes i save it in the right folder and evrything i select the tech tree (with a custom race) then do all that junk and the game loads but at the point where it should show me the starting mesage... the game, instead suddenly (and suprisingly quickly)

nvm the folder was in a different area and to avoid these constant posts [e digicons]-_-[/e] is there a manual for all this? cus i still dont know where to put custom improvements (no folder for it as far as i can tell) and when i try to use my custom tech tree the game crashes [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]

nothing exact anymore, saving problems with ship designes and save games, random crashing, the loading has gotten alot longer since i first installed the game, some graphical bugs on rare occasion, sometimes instead of a ship i get a blank thing that acts as the ship it is suposed to be or somthing that resembles random parts thrown together in a haphazard way.

ok. i dont have twilight (yet) and my dark avatar is starting to become highly degraded with multiple errors, glitches etc that werent there when i first installed the game, so until i get twilight, i want to know if there is anything i can do to fix up DA so that i can actualy play it while i wait
