Oh I got everything back just fine, as it happens, but since it happened literally when my finger slipped, I'm not sure it's replicable, ya know? I did take your suggestion, tho, and emailed support--can't hurt, right? And if there's a relevant response, I'll post it here. elaine

My bad--sorry about the jargon!! "Latest & Greatest" ObjectDock, free/home version 2.x (Have to check the exact version, am on work machine now). Since it's the free version, I just ass-u-me there's no formal support, hence checking with the support forums. elaine

Running L&G version of OD on XP Pro SP3 machine. Had a totally surreal last week or so, that was kicked off by what turned out to be an OB issue. Well, not a problem, but what happened is that at some point my fingernail accidentally caught the edge of some (unknown) key or keys, and suddenly my system taskbar disappeared! Lately my free O/D v1.90B536 (Dell XP Pro SP3) has been starting up with the warning message "OD has recovered settings from previous to a recent crash while saving...". This only seems to happen upon a boot, because if I unload it and start it again from the same real startup folder, it comes up fine. Kinda odd, since it's the "same" start location. I did delete the Stardock folder under Local Settings/App Data per a suggestion elsewhere in this forum, but that did not correct the probl

I'm trialing objectdoc, but wouldn't you know it, my office got me a new PC right after I installed it. I had customized OD rather a lot to test it well, but don't know where the data is stored so I can hopefully just move it over to the new machine.They have to be SOMEWHERE but I'm just not seeing any obvious locations like common files, application data, etc. If it's in the registry, it's not in an obvious location I can find.
