there is another way to get weapon techs from other civs without invadeing our buying form an anlliance with them if there not your enemy then they'll trade all there techs with you then after you get all there tech conquer them unless your trying to be a good race because word can spread and none of the other races will trade with you unless they have an equal military. there is a way for you to change this go to galciv2 web site go into the databanks section choose fansite and at one of the sites i forget which theres a map editor with this you can change where you are how your planet looks and can ad lots of money play with all ten races and make minors more powerful you can allow them to invade even colonize but be warned diont use the galaxy editor ive never gotten it to work right but everything ealse works fine. PNG and logos wion't show up when i mod in Galactic Civilizations II Stardock Forums

hello what my problem is that I recently learned how to mod and I added a new race to game I follow whats on the notepad to tea but when I start a game everthing i typed or made shows up all except the PNG or the logos but at enable or disable screen it shows thats its there but when i try to talk to them with the hotkeys it shows one of the other races. So can anybody please help me thanks

hi this is my first time posting anything but my problem is i just recently had a new motherboard and cpu installed on my computer and they had to wipe my hardrive clean and when installed my game again i couldint find my my games folder i installed my game twice to make sure i went into my hard drive to find it but all ive found was my stardock folder and it had everthing but my ships folder and pictures folder in it can any body out there help me or email me link with the folders it would be h

escause me but i wanted to make my on ship hulls and mods i can make my own PNGs. But i diont know what program to use to make hulls and ships so if theres anybody out there that can help me thanks foxtwo
