When I put in my Galciv2 disk into the disk-drive on my laptop and the auto run starts, this happens; [IMG]http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff29/Lewthwaite/galciv2-error.jpg[/IMG] If I try and go in the GalCiv2 folder in the disk-drive it simply doesnt load. Any ideas?

Thanks for all your replies. And by the way Hunter, yeah I suppose that three races is enough, but I am so use to playing GalCiv2 and I have so many races on there. And where do I put my mods by the way? I don't seem to have a mod folder.....
I just got Sins of a Solar Empire today and I found out that there are only three races......Is it not possible to mod more races into the game? Similar to Stardock's Galactic Civilizations 2: Dread Lords...? Plus theres no Mod folder in my Local Ironclad Games folders....?
It would need to go into Mods\Default\Data, or into another folder that has a proper ModDescription.xml file and the correct structure. Otherwise you won't be able to select it in-game. Like where can you not give me an address so i can paste it into my address bar on my document or what ever and then unzip it in that.
I don't really get that ModDescription.xml and Mods\Default\Data because I cant find either of those folders

I downloaded the modds: Imperialist and Isolationist Partiesby TheShadowHawk Narakir's political partiesby Narakir General Pants' Political Party Proliferationby General Pants I unzipped them into the folder: \GalCiv2\Mods\Data\PoliticalParties But they dont show up on the game, any help please? My program files/stardock/totalgaming/galciv2/.....the last mod file seems to be missing. Is it possible to unzipp it to another file or to find the mod file in a place where I might of missed it....
Oh ok....I think Ive tried that but it doesnt work......Ive got another three logos on now....I think somethings work and somethings dont....thnaks for everyones help.
So where do I unzip say the Klingon_emblem_101 or the starfleet.....because Ive unzipped them and it still doesnt work...
Do you leave the files zipped because it always doesnt work when they are for other downloads

Sorry, but can someone run through the modding of a simple logo or a portrait onto the game because it doesnt work for me, I have managed to put a portrait of zoidberg and a Christian cross logo, but I want to 'Trekanise' my Galciv2, but Ive tried klingon logos, the star fleet logos, the 'Trek Profiles' I downloaded of here.... I think it could have something to do with the zipping and unzipping but I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly thanked for. Noachian

What.......sorry about that but I was just asking for a logo and somehow posters turned it into a religious debate (not denieing that I havent said anything myself).......anyhow me and S1genoside were just talking about that cool logo he posted, thats religious isnt it so thats on topic I believe.

Can any one help me with the modding, I have managed to get a portirate of zoidberg on the game but God knows how I did that and couldnt get anyother things on. I'm wanting to get the politicalparties you know the one with the theocrats and the economists etc, ive tried putting it in the politicalparties folder but it doesnt show up on the game.
