There isn't anything like that for Object Dock, but there is if you're a ODNT Sub or you have DesktopX. If not and you don't feel like purchasing the software there are free alternatives. Avedesk is one.

Yes antivirus can create problems if it has some kind of script blocking, although it would probably prevent the widget from running at all. However, just disable AV and try if you haven't already. If its still a no go then make sure you're running the most current version of DesktopX. Should be the release candidate... 3.49f[rc].017...if you're running version 3.20.044 then check "show pre-release versions" in the lower left hand corner of SDC and accept the prompt. If non
What's UAC?

User Account Control (UAC) is a new security component in Windows Vista. UAC enables users to perform common tasks as non-administrators, called standard users in Windows Vista, and as administrators without having to switch users, log off, or use Run As. A standard user account is synonymous with a user account in Windows XP. User accounts that are members of the local Administrators group will run most applications as a standard user. By separati

All of the default Silica data entering widgets that come with the DesktopX installation work for me on Vista Ultimate x64. Are the widgets/gadgets you're trying specific ones only? Can you link them in the WC gallery? Try clearing the specific widgets cache. Type this into the Vista Start menu search bar... %localappdata%\Stardock\DesktopX\WidgetCache Once that window opens delete the specific widget that is being affected and then trying running it again.
...no.... try mid 08
Interesting. Can you link me the source of this. I've decided not to purchase the new G92 series because of this article along with some EVGA mod's/techs on their forums saying the same thing. But

Fuzzy: The 8800 GT 512mb would be the only choice for you if you're going to be playing in resolutions of 1280 x 1024 or less. If you're planning on playing at anything higher than yes the 8800 GTS is the way to go. However, not the old G90 chipset you'll need to buy the new G92 chipset, which is the 8800 GTS 512mb card not the 640/320 mb card. This card will get you the GTX performance without hitting the bank to hard. Anyway, IMO I would get the new 8800 GTS 512, unless yo

Completely uninstall Windowblinds paid/trial versions. Close SDC. Go to your SDC icon shortcut or the executable and right-click on it then select "run as administrator". Once SDC opens, install Windowblinds and follow the on-screen directions (reboot).
Hi there, yes, WindowsBlinds and ObjectDock runs on my vista x64 well, but there one thing I really miss at Object Dock, that the system tray icons cannot be displayed at x64 in the current version (see my post: https://forums.stardock.com/?forumid=176&aid=171284) Greetz,
It should be noted that the system tray support for Object Dock is supported under the current BETA build, which one would have access to upon purchasing Object Dock Plus

Dave: I have OB+ and Vista Ultimate x64 running fine. Although, I'm running the BETA version of it, which is available through SDC. I know you want this off of your PC, but before that make sure you're running the latest beta build otherwise OD+ won't run right on x64 Vista. OD+ doesn't use my CPU at all. This may be a docklet and not OD+ so after you update disable all docklets via the troubleshooting option in OD+ settings. CD2 e6750. Open SDC and make sure you check sho
When I tried Seabass's instructions, I lost all my ObjectDock settings.
Anytime you're about to delete something as the cache and you're not sure whether or not you really need it, just back it up. Backing up is standard nowadays, yet I see so many people not doing it. Simplest thing you could do...copy/paste...then restore if needed.

The current version of SoundPackager doesn't support that, however, CursorXP Plus allows for mouse click sounds. I know that IconX allows sounds for icons as well, although that's just for Desktop Icons. Would be nice to have one program (like soundpackager) that integrates all those sounds, but that would mean cutting down on options for the programs that already do that, which would then decrease the purchase value.
Admunchers configuration screen - Clicking anywhere within that screen with WB6 loaded caused the app to close completely. Adding it to the exclusion list solves this, but makes it look ass-ugly. Fix it please...
Can you upload a screenshot of what that program looks like. I'm curious as I've never heard of it before. Also, if its "ass-ugly" when excluded isn't that the programs own fault. WindowBlinds only skins Windows Native GUI. I'm assuming its j
I didnt have this problem with my Vista Ultimate 32bit .. so hmm this could be a 64bit issue?
As there can always be conflicts its doubtful as I currently have no problems running Deskscapes. (Vista Ultimate x64) Question: Can you run just the default Dreamscene files? It may just be that Deskscapes has detected no skinned GUI and thus doesn't feel like cooperating.
I'm running Windows Vista 32bit

Try clearing the cache.
On Vista the path has actually changed. The steps, however, are the same. So just follow Seabass6.7's Instructions, but using the path below. %localappdata%\Stardock Just copy/paste that into cmd or the Vista start menu search bar.
