Havent played that one yet, although im pretty sure I own it. Although its possible that I misread something somewhere.....who knows. Neither matters atm though as impulse is deciding to HATE me....and not want to install GC2. It wouldnt recognize the game so I decided to reinstall it...bad decision, as now it will not reinstall it. Darn thing keeps throwing a download invalid error at me...of course it IS a 1.4gb download so it's understandable but 5 times in a row is kinda annoying.

Well, I just purchased this game today, been meaning to get back to playing GalCiv2 (had to stop when my last PC died) time however is not my friend. Had a bunch of problems with Impulse not recognizing the installed games and whatnot.....so im having to reinstall them all. Hopefully ill be able to get into Twilight here soon. Although my current playthrough of NWN2 might limit that, and then theres NWN2:Mask

I definitely agree, the insane levels of micro-management needed to upgrade starbases makes them a total pain. There are so many different ways to improve upon this, personally I like the idea of making them like planets with slots to build upon. The use of constructors to upgrade the starbases seems....out of place with everything else, a starbase should be self-sufficient and able to upgrade and repair and build upon itself once it's constructed.
