Computer AI Steals Tech? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I noticed one, lets call it computer AI problem. As I finished off the terrans, that left the torians (all others were elimated including minors). so I had 5 turns for a culture win and we all know I was going to declare war. So before I declare I went into the political screen, talked to the leader to not only see if I could threaten (which would be a nice add on), but to see what tech I could trade him and see how far behind me he was. I have the same error as Citizen Kintor, "attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.s" So I cannot make a player....... Any thoughts?
