Unmanned programmed air strikes seem to be by their very nature a new kind of warfare.
I do not believe that you have a clue what your talking about. There are not "Terminator" like robots flying around Afghanistan, while a human might not be in the cockpit, they are on the proverbial trigger. I know how you hate to muddy the waters with facts, but you might take a moment and read this article that Wired published the other month. <a href="http://www.wir

Cacto, Having been stationed in Japan on and off for nearly 18 years, I know of only 3 instances of Rape by members of the military against Japanese civilians. In the cases that I know about (and trust me it is a huge thing) all those involved are currently rotting where they belong in a cell eating fish heads and rice (
I hope it is the right decision... I think of it this way, if I was actively pursuing a new job, I would hope that my potential future employer would not think unkindly of me if all heck was breaking loose at my old job and I had to put my personal betterment aside for a time. I would also expect them to look at me with a jaundiced eye if I allowed my previous employment to go down in flames while I was only looking out for myself...
Joe Lieberman - Hey will loose the Far Right and Far Left, but he will pick up everyone else. Colin Powell - Well he is Colin Powell, same reason as Lieberman.

Just wondering if he is going to be fool enough to not make the payment to the Injured Marines fund. Semper Fi Chris
Well I thought it was fixed, but it is still happening. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason on which windows are affected. http://images2.stardock.com/0/0/24/Desktop.jpg?912297 It does seem to be a bit better though.
I've been having the same problem since the release of 6.2, I tried the uninstall/install route, no joy. I had a thought since it was intermittent and seemed to manifest after start up and I could tell I was going to have problems when the Vista Side Bar went opaque on start up. So I wondered if something was stuck in the Prefetch. I downloaded the latest version of CCleaner and used the advanced mode to clear the Prefetch and ran the registry cleaner a couple of times.
Wow, I suddenly feel very old... Congrats :CONGRAT:

Phil, Just looked at the Child's Play Web Site (http://www.childsplaycharity.org/) and they seem rather Global to me, they might have started in the states, but it looks like they are branching out nicely... even downunder. Chris
My just over a month old HP laptop with a nVidia Go 6150 is running around 14% with Dreamscene, which is better than I expected given the current state of the nVidia drivers. You can get the latest drivers to work on laptops with the files from laptopvideo2go.com which do help a bit. I would have been happy with an initial performance with Vista of 75% or so, right now I'm just hoping that I will be able to play Supreme Commander when it comes out this week. One of the VP's from nVidia said that

OK, First, unless someone questions or there is contradictory information when a report from the field is filed, the commanders HAVE to take the report at face value. When the Lance Corporal reported the incident that differed from the initial report, a JAG (Judge Advocate General) investigation would have been launched. You do not ever want to be in the sights of a JAG investigation conducted by the Marine Corps. EVERYONE interviewed by the in
Having just retired from the military at the time of the last election, I can tell you that a large number of people both in the military or connected with the military voted for Bush, not necessarily because we thought he was the best choice, but because we knew that John Kerry was the wrong choice. I have heard nothing but venom and hatred from the democratic party in the last 6 years, so why should I or anyone else vote your way? Show me a candidate
Have to agree with MaxIreland, it runs very very fast, and a way to slow it down would be nice. Changed the font to Arabolical and it looks very cool especially with the transparency.
Thanks Edivion, still think I'm loosing my mind, I know their site was down right before I posted last night. Ah well, it is good to know that they are still around if very very quiet. Grog /me heads back down to the basement.
Hummmm I guess I must be loosing my mind, since I checked their site twice right before making the post. Not that I'm complaining though, good to have their site back up. Guess senility is creeping up on me Grog /me heads back down to the basement.
A while ago I noticed that Pixtudio.com was down. I figured that Alexandrie and Treetog were giving their site a much deserved makeover. Last I heard they were working on a new Suite and Alex said she was going to update Noire for WB5. I'm hoping that they are just swamped doing commercial work and designing the best GUI's on the planet. Just wondering since I've been feeling that old itch to send them some money lately (for a new suite that is). To bo
Thanks for the Early Christmas Present!!!
Almost forgot, forwarded from www.troopssuport.com . Chris
A DIFFERENT CHRISTMAS POEM The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light, I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight. My wife was asleep, her head on my chest, My daughter beside me, angelic in rest. Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white, transforming the yard to a winter delight. The sparkling lights in the tree I believe, comp
Neil Posted in the News Groups that this had been fixed internally and so the fix should be out with the next build. For what its worth, I'm having the same problem. Chris
