I was trying to install iTunes for Windows 7 64bit on my desktop computer, and while the download was not corrupt, I was getting an error message. The error message was something like, "Error, this computer is not customized " , or something to that effect. I was about to return my new iPod back to Best Buy because of this - since the main reason I bought it was to play mp3's and videos on it and to do that I need iTunes <

I still download , install and use Logons for my Windows 7- My favorite of late is the newest one "Good Morning Bora Bora" by scrating, and alot of FrankieF's selections.. Even though I can use my own wallpapers, it's always nice seeing new themes someone else uploaded. Not every wallpaper looks good as a logon. logons like Madcat's "Serenity" logon have a nice splash design perfect for a logon. <
I have a small handicapped chocolate lab dog named Mindi.. She was born with lame legs; I call her my little "walrus girl" as she wobbles about when she walks. She seems to be able to see things we humans' can't see. She's chased something invisible off of a mushroom ring near my faery garden when she was a pup.. It was so cute looking at her happily charging after the mushrooms and knocking the tops off of them. &nb
if there ever was a movie about me, I'd hope it would be after I was long dead- and it would probably be titled, "In spite of herself"

mrs_stalkers, for some reason when looking at that beautiful tribute you made for him, I just had this strong feeling that he is totally aware of this act of love from you from where his soul is right now, and he loves it and is touched by it :-) [e digicons]
Irokoness, I love your desktop setup- also noticed the time you have on the screenshot.. is that a Beatnik?
While some vested interests may want portable devices to replace desktop PC's, there will be many users who prefer their desktop machine to other devices, as I do.... and if the big manufacturers cease building them, then people will do as I do and build them themselves.
[e digicons]:star:[/e] That is a very good point -because I feel you're right- I can forsee alot more $$$ for place
I am very sad- he truly was the best! I think I have every single Logon he ever made- I loved his splash screens and wallpapers. Even I noticed his helpful input while commenting on other people's works. It really impressed me about how supremely good he was, yet how down-to-earth he was as well. I thought it was odd that there was a sudden slow-down of activity from him these past months- I will definitely miss him, and I suspect that he is continui
I get depressed on occasion , and so my heart really goes out to those who suffer this. What helps me is actually what Vamps mentioned- getting outside. I'm lucky to live near some park areas, and even in our suburbs, there are a few trees- just getting out into the sunlight with some greenery and birds around really uplifts me. During the Winter months, I need to use those SADD sunlamps-- which do make a difference as wel
Funny you should mention this- I was just thinking today about how impressed I am with Windows 7 Home Edition after finally getting it a few months ago on a new HP desktop 'puter. a I also love Windows XP and will never give up that one either. Was reading about how desktop computers are going to be phased out eventually for the hand held devices, and it will eventually just be laptops and hand-helds with Windows 8.
That same exact thing happened with me a few weeks ago on Windows 7- and yes, I was double clicking them too. Will make sure to "install from disc" everything I lost- luckily I saved all the setups !
I have a feeling you experienced corrupt windows files as I had. This just happened to me while installing some icon packages and logon studio files. My screen went dark then came back up- then when I clicked on the programs to install- they refused to install and I would get the error message: "'file system error 65535" each time I tried to open the file, the program itself, or even when attempting to re-install Icon Packager and Logon Stud
yay, I was having the same problem that 3java3 had with my new Windows 7 computer and brand new updated version of Windowblinds. but followed Mrsguy's advice on this old thread and now the issue is resolved :-) In my case, none of the Windowblind's would apply whatsoever-- but would just turn my pretty Aero taskbar this plain white color. Only system restore would bring it back to the Aero transparent look. </p

[e digicons]\o/[/e] While all of you electronics whizzes are enjoying your Windows 8's and beyond , this ole gal finally broke down and purchased a really great deal on a Windows 7 Home Premium Desktop 64 bit 'puter and 20" flat screen moniter. --I love it!- it has a 8 GB memory (cuz I had 4 more GB's added) and I have a modem plug in so I can still use dial up..lol! My dial up is much much faster now- an

I never would have believed God actually existed until I had some very vivid personal spiritual experiences/Encounter back when I was 16. .Before that, nothing could convince me of God's existance so I will not bother trying to convince anyone -- you have to experience Him first before you can ever believe in Him. Only His Spirit can actually spark any sort of energy within us0 including the energy of faith. There's more than science even knows- but

No worries, Vampothika - This morning, I just re-read what I posted and I have to admit- I really DID sound like an ass after I re-read my post. Sounded like I was almost ragging you out . Even though that wasnt my intent, it DID come off that way --and I regret that. You were very gracious to offer to make that skin in the first place, in spite of time restraints, and I appreciate that. In the future, you may
Omg, everyone has very good points- Yes, I definitely do take clean water for granted, as well as what Uvah mentioned about waking up in a warzone every morning as many do overseas. I really do feel like a spoiled brat and have MUCH to be greatful for. Thanks DrJBHL, this is a very very good thread!
