also is there a keyboard shortcut for cycling through idle cities? I'm thinking the equivalent of tab for units only for cities.
This please. I actually liked Civ 5's not letting you continue the turn until all your cities are doing something useful. The button turning yellow isn't helpful when you've got a list to scroll through on Large/Huge maps, especially with how finicky/small the scroll area seems to
Pioneers already have a build a road one tile per turn ability.
Oh boy, one tile at a time that you need to babysit. Maybe this would get used more if there was a "Make road from current position to here" button.

You responded to the first point only to ignore the second, borders in this game really... aren't. I shouldn't have to constantly hassle the AI to stay out of my territory. Especially annoying when they keep doing it with pioneers to try and get land that you've completely locked down with your borders but haven't finished scooping up yet.

I think spears are better, that armor penetration means a lot, not to mention starting tactical positions usually aren't ideal for cleaves but are for impales.
This isn't exactly a bug. Life magic traits require Kingdom-allegiance, while Death magic traits require Empire-allegiance. So, if you are a Kingdom-faction and get a hero with Death Apprentice, you won't be able to improve it, because you don't fulfill the necessary requirement.
You were able to level them just fine before the trait trees in regular FE. I'm pretty sure Bacco is supposed to happen every game since he always seems to pop up at the same time. Always seem to get the Plague at some point as well, but have yet to see the Blood Moon/Season that apparently makes everyone declare war on everyone else.

Maybe he has so much mana because he started saving it for precisely this reason? I almost never use the permanent stat/exp boost spells now with how expensive they are, prefer to use the mana on Falling Star and take care of stragglers that way, with a side of Freeze/Tremor/Pillar of Flame. If you could hotkey the boost spells maybe I'd use them, but otherwise going through the spellbook to cast them over and over gets very tiring.
Yea, in the example given, the city had no city improvements at all. Something is messed up.
I have seen it once before. The time it happened the city had 0 production, 0 gildar, 0 EVERYTHING, including population. I don't even know how you get that to happen, but as a result the city also had 0 growth so it couldn't even escape the black hole of misery. I was about to cast Sovereign's Growth on it to see if I cou

If we wanted to get really fancy there could be a mode that you enable in the designer where all the gear is unlocked letting you create units for any tech level. After you finish that, you would then get a prompt where you arrange the units you just made into an upgrade tree, with possibilities for branching paths (so you have the ability to turn some into mounted units for instance). Then the AI could easily take advantage of what the player has just done for convenience by using the same u

I was able to cast Death Lash (from Flesh Bound Tome faction trait) on a summon despite the description saying it works on Trained Units only. Works on summons created tactically or strategically. Only tried it on the Shadow Warg as well.

Wow, that totally wasn't offensive or non-constructive at all willie. As for the OP... If you find the game too slow, there are game options for that. I've been playing with faster production for instance so I'm spending less time building cities up and have more free time for making armies, or increasing magic strength so there are more shards for more mana. Yes, leveling rate does suck right now. Sure you could take all the +Exp% traits, but those take lev
I still don't understand why upgrading a unit isn't done through the unit designer.
That would be nice. The AI could still use the current method of upgrading, but a more refined option for upgrades for players would be appreciated, and this would do it I think.

I'd love to be able to upgrade a unit I have to have a new magic accessory I got instead of having to train a whole new unit that is exactly the same but with that one item in the design. Pretty much the only complaint I have left about the unit design/creation system since you're already addressing weapon type limitations for upgrades.
