Crazy Spinning Ships? in Galactic Civilizations II Stardock Forums

Ok, so I've had this problem since i bought the game and it persists despite patches and essentially makes the game unplayable. There are 3 permutations of this problem. 1. In the main screen when I'm selecting races the little ship in the corner starts accelerating its rotation until it glitches that screen. (this manifests in game when the planet in the upper left hand corner of the colony screen does the same thing) 2. After some time playing the game if i adjust the viewpoint by
