Hopefully that patch fixes a lot because I am disappointed in this game at the moment. It starts with a whole lot of crashes, loading games is chancy and random crashes occur frequently. If we had them made up of separate classes that are specialized they'd be far [I][/I]too like the Tau. Not that thats really a bad thing. Interesting backstory, I've long been wondering about the Krynn.

Reply to STICKY: Getting the game Downloaded! in Galactic Civilizations II Stardock Forums

Well the restart worked stardock central must not have upgraded to the new version it asked for on startup even though I downloaded it and restarted it. The fact that I got 6 times as fast download speed helped with the frustration and now everything is up and running. For the different servers go into the tools section in the upper left, look on settings and in there choose the internet option and its pretty easy to do.

Massive failure here I supposedly have the latest Stardock central but it still messed up. And it restarted multiple times making it take even more time. I'm getting pretty frustrated here but I think the game's worth it.
