Ahh, I see now. The movies only show up in a Sandbox game, not in the campaign itself. hmm, I guess this teaches me not to post before I play around.

Missing Movies? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Hi, I was wondering where in the game (campaign mode) you should see cinematics. Every time I win a game in campaign mode I just see a text box describing what occurs. I've downloaded the movie pack, and can see the intro and such, but I can't help feeling like I'm missing some.

heh, they should just take it as a complement. He obviously paid for the game, and is so excited about it that he can't even wait 6 days! Hell, most indie game makers would die for this kind of press. Anyways, you can't crack what you don't have, so they got nothing to worry (or be mad) about!

I think Armor by John Steakley is a much better, though far darker, picture of future warfare than Heinlein's novel. Also, honestly a ringworld/dyson sphere would theoretically take so much mass, it would consume MULTIPLE star systems. Unrealistic in the extreme.
